This is from the aftermath of those two BTRs getting smoked in June. Infantry moved to the treeline. Didn’t go well for them.

I knew a purple heart from WWII who stormed Normandy. He told one story of digging a foxhole with MG fire over his head all night while he had to listen to his friend suffer in agony because a tank shell had exploded against the tree his friends foxhole was near.
If he popped his head up he was dead.
I can’t imagine being dug in while 200 rounds per minute with similar capability of turning tree into shrapnel are popping off.
Now we have fpv drones flying in to clean up after assaults like this and it’s nightmare fuel. Just wait for AI drones.
