I feel like the whole situation could’ve been avoided if the russian terrorist state didn’t invade a sovereign country. They can still fuck off, truth be told, and stop indiscriminately murdering innocent people.

People aren’t property of the state. If the host country allows it and the people in question want to remain there, then Ukraine shouldn’t have any legal say in the matter imo. Besides, they could at least wait until the war dies down.
In his 17 he had the great chance to be mobilized once he returns to Ukraine and became 18.
