Managed a double spend on my nectar points yesterday. Had my food shop in the basket and then remembered I needed something from Argos in store.

Redeemed the points and then immediately went to pay for my food shop at a self service till. It allowed me to use my points again… winner winner and a cheeky £10 off. It’s the little things eh.

Now to save up a years worth of points and try again!

  1. It looks like you’ve gone and unlocked Nectar’s ‘reverse loyalty’ program—spend enough and they start taking back what’s left of your dignity

  2. Mine’s done the same. I think we found a loophole here, I spent my points twice over using the same method. (Argos and Sainsbury’s)

  3. I recently discovered that I’m 12000 in the red with my Sainsbury card (This part is very true). I’m on the run in South America. Ama.

  4. I wonder what they’d do if you just stopped using the card now. Would they chase you for the money? 🤔

  5. I had 2000 points stolen!

I went to scan the app one night and wondered why it said I only had about 130 points, I never spend any, there should be loads!

Checked the activity in the app and there was a 2000 point spend in a place I’ve never been. It’s with nectar now to investigate and resolve. I want to know htf that happened‽
