I really want to believe him..but it’s kinda impossible, even the US in there for years couldn’t change the retrograde mind of the majority of the afghans.
My god, they keep digging up these next generation Ahmed Chalabis and they keep giving them media coverage. I’m not sure what’s worse, that they’ve learnt nothing of history or that they intentionally keep trying to repeat it.
Afghanis are very tribal and don’t see themselves as part of a country but as individual clans spread throughout.
There is not a State or a sense of cooperation. The Taliban was inevitable.
