Ukraine’s F-16 Fighter Jet May Have Been Shot Down By NATO-supplied Patriot System | Report

The New York Times reports that the F-16 plane, which was handed over to Kiev, might have been shot down by Ukrainian forces using a Patriot air defense system. A Western official cited in the report suggests that while the Patriot system could be responsible, pilot error or malfunction could also be factors.   1. US will never accept that their beloved f16 can be shot down by enemy fire. They didn't accepted during Balakot strikes. After all this is called marketing. Who will buy downed fighter ? US is pitching for f21, a varient of f16, to indian MRFA program.

A Russian made BUK SAM inherited by Ukraine from the USSR handled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces caused the shot down of a fighter that was chasing and shotting down Russian missiles. These Ukrainian guys must not play with such toys, a very serious incident can arise from these games they play. Also using cruise missiles and HIMARS to target objectives into Russia may end by hitting something else. Remember the Malaysian passenger flight shot down over Ukraine? Was the investigation ended and, a final report presented to the public? Anyhow, political responsibility must return to western peoples minds after more than 2 years of war and 8 years of civil war in Donbass.

  7. F16 is very old plane, and the Nazi Ukraine didnt train well in them. Got shot down by own Patriot? Probably that missile operator wants to claim the Bounty from Russia

  13. Bull shit. The F-16 was shot down by a long range Russian missile fired probably by a Su-57 fighter. Russian knew Ukraine’s F-16 would be used in defense of the Russian missiles and drones attack so Russia sent their planes up monitoring the flights of the F-16s and shot one down.

  20. Yes, patriot works. To prove that, US NATO Command arrange a life exercise where patriot shot down one of the six Ukrainian F16!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

  27. They don't want to admit the Russian hit it. Why? Because the American crafts are supposed to be more sophisticated to be hit by any enemy especially Russia.
    Now they are blaming the pilot because the dead stay dumb.
