Why Is the US not sending everything they can? They have a chance to severely cripple an adversary that they spent 50 years preparing for. They can do it without losing a single soldier. Wouldn’t it make sense geopoliticaly to eliminate Russia as a threat for decades?
Losing hope that the West cares enough to turn this tide.
And at this point, I’m questioning the point of the Kursk invasion…
[This was posted by the mayor of Lviv](https://x.com/AndriySadovyi/status/1831255296984956953). Out of all the people on the photo, only the husband survived. It was Poltava yesterday. Kharkiv the day before (everyday pretty much). Ballistic and cruise missiles are raining down on the biggest cities.
Just a quick reminder: Putin didn’t press the launch button, Putin didn’t plan the strike, Putin didn’t build the missile, Putin didn’t pay taxes to pay for the munitions. Just like Hitler didn’t personally launch V2s at London. Collective responsibility shouldn’t be a thing of the past.
All of this is happening, as Ukrainian aid is being slow-walked. Billions in PDA will expire at the end of September. Everyone’s just willing to fuck over Ukrainians to “manage the escalation”. Meanwhile, there’s “badass” PR around F35s arriving to Poland, the US hits a record high in foreign arms sales contracts.
I apologize for the negativity, maybe it’s the sleepless nights here in Kyiv that are talking.
is this another strike or the same one that was on the academy?
It’s clear now that the Russian rules of engagement in this war do not differentiate civil and military targets. For them any civil installation (or a person) is just a part of Ukraine’s military infrastructure. Ukraine has no choice, but to accept these rules and use them against Russia. Remember that during WWII both sides bombed the entire cities out of existence. That was not for revenge, but pure necessity to win the war. Unfortunately, once the rules downgraded for the worse there is no way back until the end of war.
US needs to give UAF permission to shoot cruise missiles to Moscow, St. Petersburg etc so these missile strikes cease. Russia stops missile strikes as soon as UAF is able to shoot them back and then the russians start crying how unfair it is.
Russians are bombarding civilians because they have no fear of retaliation on their own warmongering civilians.
Was this some fuel or gas depot? The fireball looks quite rich for a warhead
