Absolutely none, as I’ve seen people wash their mug out with them, and I’ve seen people scrub the floor with it
I absolutely trust it to be the dirtiest thing in the kitchen. So many pores. So much damp.
I’d quietly bin it while no one was looking 🤣 even go as far as replacing it with a new one I usually buy sponges like those for like a £1 for a 12 pack so I’d happily bring one in from home
Depends on the use… But barely. I’d rather use paper towel for most things in the office kitchen
I actually take my own to work and keep it in a zip lock bag, god knows who’s used that and where their hands had been!!!!
The fungal virus from The Last of Us will definitely spawn from these things
Ours looks exactly like that. I use it sometimes if I can’t find a clean fork but I’m reluctant. We have got a dishwasher too.
we ddid a test on one at school, to see what it held in the world of tiny.
lotsa fecal matter.
urine.
everything else…
…..twas from the staff breakroom
…yep
.fecal matter,…urine….breakroom-sink
Nasty nasty
Pour scalding hot water over it before using it, add a dab of squeezy and squidge away!
That’s seen some hard time
At work? Never.
At home I use one strictly for washing up only. I have a separate cloth for cleaning and wiping surfaces.
Sponges the go on the windowsill in the sun to kill all bacteria
I’d rather wash my mug in the toilet than use that.
I know Reddit is full of hypochondriacs but that looks well worn. The one in our office is replaced regularly.
But still, I wouldn’t have much issue rinsing out a lunchbox with it. I’d be more worried about it not being effective at removing stuck on food because it’s so worn, the soap you use with it will handle the germs regardless of it’s scrubbing surface.
