TSMC provides almost 2/3 of the worlds semiconductor wafers while having a near monopoly on leading edge fabs. Their is absolutely no way this graphic is remotely valid when one single company in Taiwan breaks it that bad. I don’t even need to mention the other Taiwanese fab companies, or the American companies who have fabs in Taiwan.
BTW, Semiconductor Industry Association is an American lobbying group.
You can design a Dyson sphere, but if you cannot manufacture it, does it matter?
