11. It's not an Illogical Russian strategy. The Kursk incursion cannot possibly be a long-term invasion. Otherwise it would be known as a conquest, a conquered territory. In the interim, Russia's exerting control over the entirety of what used to be the eastern part of Ukraine, already ratified by the Russian legislature. Shoring up their fortifications there takes a bit of time. Over in the Kursk region, the AFU and their mercenaries of sorts are behind enemy lines. Sure they can and have caused some damage there although there's no way they can ever exert jurisdictional control over it, so there's only one or 2 ways for these aliens to go.
