6. So what we have is a video of men on their cellphones getting shot behind their drying laundry and the story that OP gives us.

   I remember my basic training quite vividly and preparing for an operation very much didn´t include watching in plain sight chatting on our phones. Can´t imagine that this is how any organisation prepares to cross the border (in plain sight, during daylight).
