Picture I took today of the original building piece of Ye Frying Pan (nowadays an indian restaurant at the junction of Brick Lane and Thrawl Street). This was the pub where Mary Nichols, the first victim, was last seen drinking before meeting her terrible fate. Amazing how we can find such interesting pieces of history just by looking up 🙂
