If they didn’t, you’d have to start wondering what’s the fucking point of them being in government to begin with.
With their vote at 34% I suspect they still think they didn’t do enough to win over Tory voters and will keep trying by watering this down so much that it’s effectively a chocolate teapot.
Labour are in power for the next 5 years.
This will cost the Treasury nothing.
There is no reason not to ban this – unless they don’t care.
