Every time anything negative occurs, the possibility of enemy action occurs to the Russians. Every drone that flies from Ukraine produces disproportionate returns in psychological warfare. Every accident or misadventure provokes a panic and a spy-hunt.
The locomotive repair shops have to be an ideal target with all the flammable material around it.
Russia does have a robust energy industry. Just look at that release of energy.
