Satellite images show how Israel is paving key Gaza road

SS: High-quality satellite images show that Israel has already paved 6.4 kilometers of a two-lane road on the Philadelphi axis. The road reaches from the sea to Kishta neighborhood, the paving rate is about half a kilometer per day, in another week and a half they will finish the entire axis.
Good. If the IDF maintains control of the corridor, Hamas will not be able to smuggle weapons under it any longer and Israelis living adjacent to the strip will be able to go about their lives without fear of ongoing rocket attacks. If having the IDF stay in this part of Gaza is a problem, maybe Egypt should cede a sliver of their territory needed for this operation since they obviously failed to properly secure the border when they were in charge.
