  1. Love the caterpillar cake lying in wait in the background. Curly’s got his eye on you!

  2. Lovely! Congratulations to you both. I love Colin the Caterpillar peeking out over the cake and pork pies.

  3. you know, if you’re scared of potato germs there’s this really cool trick (giving it a good rinse)

  4. One time my old job put on a wee party food selection for us before we were closing down. When the boss was doing her wee speech she had a brilliant wee slip up and accidentally said “please help yourselves to the farty pood” whole place cracked up.

  5. I hope you’ve got Shippam’s meat paste sandwiches there, otherwise I’m not coming.

  6. Every boxing day my mama would have the whole family round, there was about 25 of us give or take. I started helping out when I was around 14, and every year I had to make 6 of the cheese and pineapple hedgehogs, I’d get through a big block of cheese and 3 tins of pineapple. Sorry for the waffling, shes been on my mind a lot recently and this just reminded me of her.

Proper party food! Congrats to your partner 🙂

  7. Add some party rings and do the cha cha slide and you’ve got the perfect primary school disco

  8. I work with teenagers…and everytime they tell me it’s their birthday I tell them that I will make them a cheese and pineapple hedgehog. They have no idea what I’m talking about so I show them a photo and they act disgusted. It worries me that there will be a time when no one appreciates a cheese and pineapple hedgehog…. (also, it should be a half grapefruit not a potato)

  9. Add some party rings and do the cha cha slide and you’ve got the perfect primary school disco

  10. Really cool gesture!

My partner didn’t do anything for me 🙁

I acquired the german citizenship 2 days ago.

  11. Cheese and pineapple is my kryptonite! Congratulations to your partner on the citizenship, welcome to the club!
