Forgive me for asking, I am naive. Are they firing on soldiers confirmed to be there? The reason I ask, I don’t see any return fire.

in the Iraqi invasion, they (USA) mentioned using tanks to run over and collapse trench systems as it was far easier and faster (than shooting the main guns at it/infantry). We have seen this a bit in Ukraine, but surprised its not used here, or more often
