  1. The former Toys R Us at Copdock

And your picture, Northampton Lift Tower?  (With a side of Franklins Gardens)

  2. Moved out of from here to live in London years ago… home is seeing the Christmas tree all lit up on top when pulling into the train station during the winter months, memories!

  3. Northampton Lift Tower, plus Franklins Gardens next door.

Also home to the UK’s stabbiest McDonalds on the Drapery!

  4. Northampton ? Used to live just off the racecourse a few streets away from Alan Moore about 25 years ago

  5. I was next door to the old lift tower today, not by choice, but because my wife was driving and headed to HobbyCraft. When in reality we needed to be at the old Toys R Us shop thats now a new Home Bargains, just across from Carlsbergs brewery of shite

  6. Tinsley viaduct towers. Crossing the viaduct and seeing both towers was a known fact if he home in 20 minutes

  7. We’re lucky enough to have the Angel of the North as our nearly-home landmark.
Once we’re up to it, we’re normally 10 minutes out.

At the moment we’re lucky enough to be able to approach it for 10 minutes, then gradually crawl past it for the next half hour courtesy of the roadworks on the A1.

  8. I don’t live there any more but when I go back to visit I know I’m close when I see Emley Moor mast.

  9. Forton Motorway services, Lancaster. It’s not exactly round the corner from where I live but it’s close enough that I know I’m nearly there.

  10. The big VUE cinema that I can see from my flat. I always wanted a room with a view.

(Damn it, that pun doesn’t work in text form 😭)
