FRANCE 24 report: Pakistan’s Baloch separatist movement gaining momentum • FRANCE 24 English

Coordinated attacks on August 26 in Balochistan, south-west Pakistan, raise many questions about the deteriorating security situation in the province, which is in the grip of a separatist insurgency and armed Islamist groups. At least 70 people died, including 14 soldiers, in coordinated attacks claimed by the BLA, the Baloch Liberation Army. The separatist movement has been waging an insurgency for almost two decades, but never launched before so many coordinated attacks simultaneously. FRANCE 24’s Shahzaib Wahlah reports.

  17. One day they have to recognize, they will need immigrants and foreigners for their development. Wellcome China, as they are investing their money on your soil. No one gives free money. Stand with rising sun China, and you will be enjoying life like arabs. Development comes by investments. You have no resources. Punjab have much better resources to support life. You people are living on self-imposed poverty. You people kill Chinese and foreigners. You people kill workers. You will have no future if you do not stop killing of innocents. You are given more share per capita than any other province. Your tax collection is Nill. Your electricity generation capacity is nill. So what resources you have. You are totally misguided. Why UAE , SAdui Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain all are developing?/???Why, Because they have more foreigners and investors than their population. So stop killing and enjoy investments. UAE is not run by oil money, But, it is much more run by investors……Keep eye on changing world. Get out trouble now. Stand with China. Stand with investors. Fighting is no more beneficial

    If you guys need funding just ask online. Indians will send money. Indian government is defencive mode not offensive so they cant help you , but indian public can help😂

  35. As a concerend Punjabi Muslim, I think the armed forces of pakistan should surrender to people. I see there are comments for free balochistan. I do not agree. Independance is possible within Pakistan if fight the corrupt establishment together. Giving indepence to any province would mean others would also want it. Believe me "United we win, Divided We fall". I also a lot of supposedly Indians who are commenting for balochi freedom. Those touts just want to enjoy us turned apart. Lets be brothers and make whole of pakistan independant not just balochistan.

Balochistan is the integral part of the Islamic republic of Pakistan.any terrorist movement which is funded by neighbours,who want to break Pakistan is not acceptable.I am from Islamabad and Balochistan is my favorite part of Pakistan . Enemies darkest dream will never come true . Pakistan zindabad ❤
