  1. I would prefer them fluffier, and therefore crispier around the edges.

That said, the texture inside matters too.

EDIT: How do you rate the roasties she cooks?

  2. Can’t judge roasties without eating them, the ideal roastie is fluffy inside but crispy outside.

  3. What type of potatoes are they? Maris Piper or King Edwards are the best to use for roasties.

They definitely need fluffing up after parboiling.

    Have they been seasoned?

  4. They look fine except that you haven’t shaken them before roasting, so they’re smooth rather than textured and crispy.

You could also chuck some herbs in with with, but that’s not an absolute requirement

  5. looks like they’re stuck to the tin – at least, they’re not falling off a vertical face 🙂

  6. I’d eat them but it looks like you just chucked raw potatoes straight in the tray rather than boiling them for a bit first.

  7. I’m hungry so if your daughter doesn’t want them *shrugs* , I shall not complain! 😂

  8. Idk how you make them look so smooth but mine have never turned out like this. Legit thought they were apples at first
