I was sure the flame would be on top of the Eiffel Tower, being the cauldron itself as the French never miss a chance to show it off. And it seems the organisers had this idea as well.
Then I’ve read that it was not possible so I thought jokingly well, the just need to put it on a ballon on top of the Eiffel Tower so that the whole of Paris can still see it.
Absolutly astonished that they actually put it in a ballon

I do love Paris as a city and they did it justice. Like it in real time. Next time in the USA means I have to get up early or stay up late 😊
They should genuinely put the balloon in the Louvre. It’s a magnificent work of art.
I’ve seen it for real 2 days ago, and I can tell you that it’s even better in reality. TV, even with powerful HDR, can’t yet manage to reproduce the same powerful light that REALLY looks like a flame. On TV It kinda look like fire, but not exactly…you can “feel” it’s just water and LEDs. But in reality, it’s so powerful it kinda blinds you like a real flame would. Really beautiful!
