LAST GENERATION: CLIMATE REBELLS SILT FLOOR AT BER AIRPORT WITH FAKE OIL

Berlin – Climate activists of the last generation and from Scientist Rebellion have distributed fake oil on the floor of the BER airport.
This was announced by the group on Saturday. It calls for an international agreement on the phase-out of fossil fuels by 2030.
“!!! Caution!!! Oil Kills” (German: Warning! oil kills), could be read on signs they held in their hands at Terminal 1.
“That’s why we’re protesting at BER airport, a place of fossil injustice,” Marion Fabian, spokeswoman for the Last Generation, said according to the statement.
And further: “We have to mitigate the consequences of the climate catastrophe – this is only possible with the socially fair phase-out of fossil fuels!”
According to their own information, several hundred aircraft take off daily at the BER. The activists are facing this, since “we are in the middle of the climate catastrophe.”
