  1. It is very sad that India, the world's largest democracy, a country espousing the rule of law and basic human freedoms should align itself with Russia, a dictatorship that murders political opponents, suppresses free speech and brutally invades its peaceful democratic neighbors. It is particularly sad considering the great contributions that the Indian diaspora have made in science, commerce, politics and culture in Western countries. Ever wondered why there are they so few in Russia, China, Iran and North Korea?
