Demand everything. Give nothing. Pretend that you are willing to have a “cease fire” than blow up the deal by demanding ridiculous shit. Rince, repeat ad infinitum.
And the Western media gobbles this up.
Putin uses the same playbook, every few month Pupu or on of his henchman comes out and says “we are ready for peace.” The media repeats this happily. On closer examination the “peace” turns out to be “we are ready for Ukraine to totally surrender.” Same shit with Hamas Nazis.

Just a reminder that Palestinians have every right to ask Israel to comply with the ICJ’s advisory opinion: a complete withdrawal from the West Bank and reparations paid.
Asking for a few more prisoners in the swap is not scuttling the deal. Israel refusal to comply with international law for decades is the problem.
Complying with international law should be the bare minimum.
