Ukraine inability to fight an air war is totally absent which is a hallmark of western fighting doctrine of Air superiority to support its ground operation. Russia has shown that its Area denial systems are top notched, Its EW system are unparalleled and its Doctrine of scorched earth tactics and its vast supplies of artillery ammunition could not be surpassed by the west. The Russians have after 3 years of high intensity warfare are now battle hardened compared to the West fighting goats herders in Afghanistan and the rest of the middle east. The Russia of 2020 was probably weak and could be defeated but after 3 years of fighting i don't even think they could be defeated now.
