These scenes should be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival instead of the film “Russians at War,” which denies Russian war crimes

  1. A trend with photos of Russian war crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine has spread on the social network X (Twitter). Perhaps now the Russian-Canadian director of the propaganda film ”Russians at War”, which will be screened today at the Toronto International Film Festival, will see the obvious.

The first photo in the post shows the exhumation of bodies from mass graves in Izium, which was liberated from Russian forces exactly two years ago, on September 10, 2022.

A mass grave was found there containing 447 bodies of people killed during the occupation of the city.

  2. I am ashamed that my tax dollars went to this when my after tax dollars go to drones for Ukraine. On the other hand Canada is send a lot of stuff to Ukraine …among the top givers.

  3. Canadas deputy prime minister has spoken out to say she has grave concerns and it’s not right for Canadian public money to go towards the creation and screening of this propaganda. This issue is one of the top stories in our national headlines. We Canadians see the Ruzzians committing war crimes. We won’t look away or forget. Slava Ukraini

  4. It’s a well done photo assay, with the creators of the BS film in every shot. Hopefully the puppet filmmaker will never be taken seriously again.

  5. I mean… I saw a video literally the other day of ruzzis executing POWs. They literally do it all the time, they ONLY commit war crimes.

  6. What a pack of loosers, they shall be punished by the international courts or by a well trained group of Ukrainian military practitioners

  7. Russians killing POWs almost every day there are a lot of videos on this page. Russians are ruthless end don’t give a fuck about human life not even there own.

  8. So… these idiots were traveling with Russian soldiers/FSB officers to look at the Russian POV?

Of course they don’t show then any war crimes while they are there…

  9. These are russian celebrities that desperately needs to be accepted again in the society without which they’re nothing… they don’t care about what really happened in Ukraine 🇺🇦 or what’s happening in their country, these people are just the definition of selfishness 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

  10. People who approved the funding for that Russian propaganda “movie” should be fired. The money given should be confiscated from the producer’s personal assets.

  11. I say go ahead with “showing” the movie at its time slot, just swap out the original movie with a 3 hour long, non stop display of russian warcrimes! + ad a petition for declaring russia an terrorist state, making it way more difficult to paddle their propaganda

  12. “spent seven months embedded with a Russian army battalion in eastern Ukrainian territory occupied by Moscow’s forces to make the film,”

Doesn’t this mean she was illegally in ukraine?

  13. Probably not possible but Canada should revoke her Canadian citizenship and send her back to Russia. She already has front line experience being imbedded with a RuZZian infantry unit for two months. She should be proud to join and support the “innocent and victimized normal guys” that are the RuZZian soldiers waging war in their illegal invasion

  14. Someone in Ukraine needs to make a video of all the civilian women and children who have been murdered — graphic photos — and send that to all the fools out there who think what Putin/Russia has done is okay. Especially to Trump/ Vance ( sadly I am in favor of most Republican ideas — just not these Putin ass kissers) and to the Indian and Chinese people who are completely clueless as to what this war is about.

  15. TVO board of directors just released a statement.
They have heard our concerns and will not be airing this disgusting Russian film.
Thank you for all the calls, emails, letters and to all the Ukrainians and Canadians that protested today!
    Slava Ukraini !!!

  16. I imagine hacking a film festival’s programming would be on the low end of difficult for a skilled hacker.

Idea: throw together some footage of all the warcrimes on film, in a montage video and hack/show that instead. Best case scenario, they dont catch it quickly, and you get to show the realitiy of russian brutality to a bunch of people. Plus the bonus of that filmaker REEEEEing online about how her free speech has been violated somehow.

In the same way Ukraine hacked russian tv to show them the truth. Do the same thing at this festival.

  17. I’m going to enquire about funding to piece together a film of all the war crimes I’ve witnessed on Reddit. It would be 2 hours in length and will demolish your soul.

  18. It should be allowed to be shown. Censoring even a Russian propaganda video seems somewhat against the freedoms of the West. Not one person who watches that movie is going to alter a damn thing about the situation, so why should we put our Russian Putin hats on and censor things we don’t want the public to see? Im for Ukraine 100% in this fight but I’m not scared of a propaganda video being shown.
