1. I am not sure they can impose many new sanctions.

   Just another great example of how you can’t sanction half the world before they start working with each other.

   USA, Europe and the rest of the western block depleting their stocks of all but the most advanced weapon systems they have, sending it to Ukraine, and having half of it end up on the black markets all over the world with a little help from Ukrainian democracy and corruption: does not exacerbate the war, endanger European stability or make any of them a party to the ongoing conflict.

   Iran sending missiles directly to Russia: exacerbates the war, directly endangers European stability, and makes Iran a party to the conflict on the side of Russia.
