Royal Opening: Queen Launches New State of the Art Cancer Centre

The Queen toured the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust’s new Dyson Cancer Centre, that centralises most of its cancer services under one roof where up to 300 patients can be treated daily. Her Majesty spoke with patients receiving treatment at the centre, along with doctors, staff and charity members. Report by Matthew Covell.

  1. Camilla doing her Queenly duties, and to be fair she does it well. She knows how things are done, always did …
However, she is not my Queen and never will be. She has a shady history, so has Charles and so did Camilla’s former husband.
Roll on William & Catherine. Charles retire, rest and relax and enjoy what time you have left. Camilla – you’ve walked a
tightrope, done some good, and some bad but mostly you will be remembered for what you did to Diana.

  2. Just very slightly tactless to use the phrase “Queen of Hearts” given that Princess Diana wished to be “Queen of People’s Hearts” and there is still a great love for her out there.

  4. When I myself had Cancer I drew heavily on both the medical system here in Aotearoa but also on the Gold Std Alternative Cancer Treatment -In I think it was Birmingham – endorsed by the then Prince of Wales…. This was in 2008/9 and on for five years. The one thing ( and it was no small thing ) i asked of my husband was that he stay emotionally available to me. He did. And when work took him away from me my very skilful and caring friends made themselves available, bless them all.
