no surprise poland has an issue with this, they have a tendency to allow people to come in and get temporary citizenship for asylum (including id cards which has caused a few misleading headlines on this topic) then let them leave to go deeper into the e.u as they please while they are being reviewed.
I get both sides, but this is obviously an issue directly stemming from poland directly dictating germanys immigration policy, and the nord stream blunder from poland just exacerbates these tensions.
As a German I also find it unacceptable. Schengen is way more important than these populist show policies.
When you get applauded by Hungary you know you are on the wrong side of history.
