Are these any good? I don’t know how to feel about these.

  1. I like the idea of you choosing to post this on Reddit and then patiently wait at the shop until sufficient feedback has been received enabling you to make a decision on whether you purchase the item

  2. I’ve curried baked beans at home my whole life!
I’m intrigued what this will taste like but I’m pretty sure mine will be better..

  3. I won’t buy heinze on principle. If they can’t be arsed shaping their tin bottoms so they are stackable like other manufacturers, then I can’t be arsed buying their products

  4. Tried all three ages ago when on offer, not worth it, just buy store brand and add your own chilli/hot sauce, barbecue sauce or curry powder.

  5. Don’t revoke my citezen ship but these are probably at least a bit more flavourful than regular old baked beans 😹😹

  6. I had some from the food bank before and used them to make a really spicy veggie chilli. 2 tins of the beans with the other ingredients and I fed two people for a week.

I thought the beans were not exactly great tasting on their own, but in with everything else they were okay.

  7. My friend, get out there and live a little – one cannot learn about the beans of the world from Reddit! Eventually, one has to take a leap into the unknown and experience life’s rich tapestry of legumes for themselves!

  8. Dunno, but I’d never buy Heinz products – way too expensive.
I just use the Lidl variety (perfectly good beans) and if I want them spicy add some curry or chilli powder.

  9. Normal beans + franks hot sauce or bbq sauce or curry powder work just as well for me. Not worth the price for me.

  10. I got them a while back – there’s a couple more flavours than you have there. I enjoyed them, particularly on chips!

  11. Bbq ones are just kfc beans, if you’re into them.
Chilli ones are fucking banging. I dont buy regular beans anymore tbh

  12. massive ripoff! just buy regular beans and give them a squirt of your chosen sauce when cooking. bonus being you can buy the cheapo beans as you are changing the sauce anyway…..

  13. Are they more expensive than the plain ones? I hate baked beans but my sister used to cook them with different flavours all the time – usually a pinch of curry powder. Why not just get some seasonings?

  14. I’d try anything once (within reason) and I quite like the idea of the BBQ beans. Chilli and curry not so much because they’re probably tamed down beyond recognition to cater for average British taste buds.

  15. I had the ‘5 bean’ variant, it was quite nice. Not for breakfast (thats just basic baked beans) but a nice mix.

I also have the Chilli one as well, that will be an experience…

  16. Well it’s just curried beans and variants thereof, isn’t it? But at 99p a tin I’ll be damned if I’m going to find out.

  17. The chilli beans still exist? I used to buy them all the time but I can’t find them in my town anymore.

  18. I had the chilli ones recently and they were nice. The chilli was subtle, and fairly sweet, but tasty.

My wife had the BBQ ones and she thought they were great.

  19. You should buy one of each and give a report back to reddit to help consumers with this dilemma

  20. Rip off, all of em. I buy Asda yellow label baked beans, tbsp of puree and a teaspoon of smoked paprika.👍
Use your imagination not your wallet ✌️
