Germany was to be a battle-ground, if things were to escalate. I doubt if anyone even disputed that.
Much of the Central Europe, incl. Germany, Poland and others would be ones that get affected massively, and so will Turkey and Greece. It would have followed with France and the non-Russian countries inside the Soviet Union, depending on the scenario. The US was going to fight its war in and on Europe, and so will Russia in its created buffer-zone in Eastern & Central Europe.
The state of your nuclear industry that grim?
We’ll use some parts that used to be German as a buffer. The lands of the Winged Plumbers and Meth-addicted pornstars aren’t really needed.
