Small arms ammo. I got a little too excited.
They are also producing 125mm tank ammunition, 75mm low-pressure recoilless cannon ammunition, hand grenades and many other items. It is good to see them becoming less dependent on the fickle will of foreign nations.
It’s so odd to me to see 5.45×39 with brass cases and not lacquered steel.
I cant wait till this is all over and I can finally get cheap 5.45 again. Pretty excited.
this lot number… time for a stamp than can go higher than 9999😅
Does anyone know why they’re using brass for the cartridge? Most 7.62 and 5.45 X 39 mm rounds from Warsaw pact countries use laquered steel casings. Is this a nod towards NATO stanag?
Maybe when the war is over they can export to the U.S. I have a hungry Tantal that needs feeding.
Well, go on, start delivering them to the Russian army, shot by shot.
They definitely need more ammunition. Go Ukraine 🇺🇦
They look like candy.
Slava Industry! Slava Ukraini!
That’s awesome to see. I know that a lot of the money we’ve sent them has been towards rebuilding and building their own arms manufacturing
Anyone know the details of why they lost the ability? I’m guessing the Soviet ammo manufacturing for small arms was strategically seized in the Donbas in 2014?
Always interesting how the Russians planned this war for so long. I bet Russia/partisans seized a lot of ammo stores and manufacturing immediately in 2014. I remember that crazy storage facility Wagner found with so many Ww2 weapons in storage, and wondered if Russia had better Soviet maps than Ukraine (the Avdivka sewer network exploit etc). Now’s the time to use these Warsaw stores up (Czech found a lot), if UKR is moving to NATO standards.
very nice
I wonder if post-war I could buy cheap 5.45 from them
Product of us tax dollars for infrastructure and agriculture. No problem building americas gun factory overseas and putting UA on it.
That’s where all the large rifle primers are. I cannt complain then.
Give them a few years and they’ll be selling that stuff over here. Looks like good stuff. I’d run a box.
Maybe x39 get made a bit more 🥹
Bro I pray once Ukraine secures their freedom that they export surplus to USA because I think my next firearm purchase is gonna be a 5.45 ak
How hard is to fabricate those machin gun rounds?
I can’t wait to be able to buy cheap, high quality 5.45×39 from Ukraine and support its export economy after the war is over
