AMLO reaching levels of based not thought possible. looking forward to all the democracy enjoyers and liberals arguing why electing judges (a practice in most US state supreme courts) is undemocratic actually.
I mean, I can get the explanations I’ve heard for why electing judges could corrupt the courts into a loyalty system, but clearly appointing judges doesn’t prevent that from happening? Realistically, the selection method is far from the only or most important factor, but it’ll be interesting to see how this works out for Mexico
