We don’t live in a perfect world, Met tells residents in drug deal street

Roadmen and Dealers have ruined my local high street completely, and the police are cowards who refuse to do anything.
Lived on street similar for 1 year. Only person who managed to sort it was the local Conservative councillor by basically admonishing the council and being on the local policing team seemingly 24/7.
He was batshit mental in his views but got the job done through sheer persistence.
Not this has been in the press, I imagine something more will be sorted.
We have a lot of crack users in Harringay (ward) in Haringey (borough). It’s whack-a-mole for the over-stretched police. They would need probably 50 officers to be on the street , 24/7. That’s about 3 shifts x2, 7 days a week. I doubt that would make a difference as the users and their suppliers will move on to another ward.
Only way to stop it is to make it legal and do everything through legal channels.
Cut out the gangs and dealer and makes it safer for the end user
