It’s true. Workers have gotten shafted so bad for decades now. Inflation did a good job revealing just how bad it’s been. It’s unfortunate often times I feel like an idiot and sucker for working a 9-5.
I think it’s not work, it’s more about be exploited
Did you know modern workers in US have less holidays than medieval serfs in general, and in some aspects less rights as workers? Fascinating history. And we are talking about the serfs – labourers bound to working on their lord’s estate.
it’s beyond my comprehension why does any working class person vote for the neoliberals after all the damage to welfare policies, infrastructure, and economy they caused. those people don’t know how to manage an economy. why does anyone keep voting for them?
I feel like the problems in this country are getting so large that I’m unsure if it’s fully fixable or if this will be the standard for how people live going forward
Strike strike strike. We are the real leaders, we are the real power. We just always fail to realize it over time.
You have to plan better to get ahead and be more realistic. It’s the only way. A lot of people are consumers who get caught up in things and take on too much debt.
