The amount of major events that have taken place, changes in the course of humanity all whilst that trolley has been festering at the bottom of a canal. The average price of a pint was around £2 when that last saw the light of day
Ahh, my student part time job was at the Kwikies for years. How I don’t miss that..
Looking forward to seeing this on an upcoming Antiques Roadshow…
What are you going to do with this prize that the universe has bestowed upon you?
It’s not just cars that have got bigger, it’s shopping trolleys too.
So really, it was a slow save trolley… 😔
Catch and release or take it home and eat it?
I hope you took all precautions and did it in a Safeway
Everything about this picture says it wasn’t a kwik save
Theres a few trolleys at the bottom of every canal in the UK.
Did anyone else’s Kwik Save have that frozen section separated with the curtains? It always made me think of the Go Kart track from Pat Sharpe’s Fun House!!
No frills.
I wouldn’t stick that in a Yorkshire pudding, it doesn’t look edible.
Do yourself a favour, be a Liquorsaver
Can’t help but think this is the start of the shopping cart’s Harry Brown-esque revenge story.
DECENT!
And you took it away for disposal? Or just dumped it on the canal like every other magnet fishing type.
