Best experience I had in Scotland

When I was planning my Scotland trip I got so much help and good advice from this group. 90% of my trip was planned on this thread. I'm not affiliated with either of these places but I came across them mostly by accident and would love to see them get more traffic! ❤️

That said if anyone else is looking for suggestions:

Holmes glassmaking

My boyfriend and I did the glass making experience here with Peter and Andrew. It was such an amazing and fun experience and will be a great reminder of our time. Peter was such a kind and patient instructor and really made the experience valuable. Peter and Andrew work so well together and it's really cool to watch. I couldn't believe how hands on we got to be throughout the process. We both have a vase we made ourselves to take home. They have different options for what you can make.

Covesea Lighthouse

We got to do a full tour of the lighthouse and go up to where the light once was. Jim was super knowledgeable and gave us all kinds of extra cool facts. This lighthouse specifically has some neat extra artistic touches. The history of the lighthouse was neat as well.
They also have rooms for rent. The view and surrounding area is amazing and I regret not getting a room here and getting to wake up so close to the ocean.
