Medvedev statements are the best reflection of the fear at the highest levels for any given development in Russia’s failed war. This is a desperate attempt to play on the reluctance of the West to escalate the situation with Russia. Iran providing ballistic missiles to Russia has eroded the redlines and positioned Moscow in the crosshairs of Western weapons. Russia has a choice to make and time is running out.
If only West listened to him as much as Ukraine does (i.e. about as much as you listen to a drunkard rambling on the street somewhere)…
