I’m currently staying at the Highland Hotel in Fort William, Scotland, and have come across these beautiful stained glass windows.
There’s no information on who they are – can anyone identify them or the crests above?

  1. You could try posting the photo in the [heraldry sub](https://www.reddit.com/r/heraldry/). Someone there might be able to identify the shields in the top panels, which might lead you in turn to identifying the people.

    It’s a beautiful window.

  3. Pretty sure it depicts Mary Queen of Scots with the white rose of Scotland in the mocked up heraldic shields opposite Francis II of France represented by the three fleur-de-lis
