  1. Nostalgia rush holy shit. Remember the rubber band powered ones

  2. Oh damn this takes me back. Bloody loved those things as a nipper.

  3. Thanks to you I’m about to start my own air force.

  4. When I was younger I accidentally took my brothers tooth out trying to bicycle kick one out of the air lmao

  5. The big foam 1s from home bargains are quite good on a not so windy day.

  6. Weird…I haven’t seen these for years, and went to a model aircraft display just today where there was a stall selling them.

  7. That’s some true nostalgia right there. Still going strong!

  8. I remember spending all my pocket money on these and it being a gateway to Airfix models

  9. Had a wooded hillside close to ours as a kid side to get them to go for ages if you got the flaps just right.

  10. If anything breaks do NOT try super glue to repair it. It literally dissolved the wing. Tape is the only option.

  11. We used to buy tonnes of these on holiday when we were in a chalet. Then the family would fucking leather them at each other. Good times.

  12. Our daughter gets them as gifts at nursery if she follows all the golden rules! Love it when she brings one home.

  13. Can still hear the squeak of putting the wings through

  14. You need to: give it some right rudder, make a slight adjustment to the rear elevators, and put some blu-tac on the nose

  15. I distinctly remember having a green Mitsubishi Zero that flew like a dream

  16. Whenever I see things like this that haven’t changed for decades I always wonder if there’s someone who’s worked at the factory their whole lives. A whole career just making little polystyrene gliders seems quite nice.

  17. They have different ones now too like unicorn flyers

  18. I loved these as a kid then forgot all about them, then my own kids loved them when they were little, then I forgot about them again until just now

  19. I buy them from Poundland for my nephews. They ate a 9 pack, or at least the last lot I’ve brought were. They are cheap so I’m never bothered if they break them.

  20. What is it supposed to be? Kinda looks like a Kawasaki Ki-61

  21. There is a little model train shop in Betws Y Coed. They had them in there. I bought 5. My grandson loves them. I hadnt seen them for maybe 40 years!

  22. I got the propeller of one of these stuck in my ear when I was little. Required a hospital visit to get it removed.
    Mum was NOT happy.

  23. I remember working out the perfect angle to throw it so it would loop the loop. My brother and my dad couldn’t. I felt such a sense of achievement.

  24. Man these things were shit. Never flew straight, broke after a couple of throws. Didn’t stop me buying them from every little country corner shop!

  25. Oh wow! I used to get one of these in every school trip. Only lasted as far as 30 mins on the bus journey back to school but was iconic
