Why has Macron chosen Barnier as French PM? • FRANCE 24 English
French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday named the European Union’s former Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier as new prime minister, following almost two months of political deadlock after snap polls, the presidency said. A left-wing coalition emerged as France’s biggest political force after those elections while Macron’s centrist faction and the far right make up the two other major groups in the National Assembly. But how did Barnier, all but invisible in French political life since failing to win his Republicans (LR) party’s nomination to challenge Macron for the presidency in 2022, end up with the job?

Because he is a puppet of Brussels.
English and Christian european reeling with several crisis including economy shrank (instability/peacelessness).
The primary reason are citizens choosing frauds as their leaders/rulers.
The "lame duck" has the option to keep calling parliamentary elections, and Barnier will keep the boat steady until next June 🙂
The EU will not exist in another 10 years time!!
So the government continues a right wing one
I'm just curious: Will there be another french election next year if the coalition doesn't go through?
Michael Barnier his the best leader and clever
Democracy is dead in Europe 🇪🇺
Its simply astounding how elections and their results [ONCE SACRED] are now totally disregarded.
Globalism [and its functionaries] no longer bother to go to the trouble of rigging elections, it simply ignores them if they produce
'inconvenient' results.
Will the choice stand? It seems to me that nothing can pull France together. There is no compromise selection possible.
States can only be better administered when kings become philosophers and philosophers become kings.
It's a real disappointment for French voters who were deceived in this election. The real loser here is democracy itself.

The bald guy forgets to mention that the left rejected the center left candidate before selecting Barnier. Forgets ? Nononon
La démocratie en action. Elle a échoué. L'électoralisme ne fonctionne tout simplement pas.
