Well… anyone knows any good mechanic in Nitra?

Last Thursday we had an accident with our car and I'm very thankful about how Slovaks were very helpful and immediately stopped their car and were running to help us and also the ambulance and fire department were quick to arrive.
However apparently our car is considered wreck but since it was a gift from my mother in law, we would love to have it fixed.
It's an electric Peugeot 208, if anybody knows someone that is willing to fix it I would really appreciate it 🙏

  1. What exactly happened If I may ask. I’m just curious.

Also if it’s totaled, isn’t it cheaper to buy a new one? But if you want I know just one mechanic and can give you a number. But he is in a village nearby.

  2. You will sell it for 200euro to a guy and in 2months you can buy it off internet with the title never wrecked, first owner.

  3. Nobody is going to fix electric car from a wreck like this. The chassis that holds the battery packs is most likely bent and there is a risk of a very dangerous lithium fire

  4. Well most importantly is if no one was injured badly or killed, car is just materialistic thing.

If is A pillar (the first one) damaged it is not worth repairing, mainly because of safety issue; and looks like shock absorber was also tore out

But anyway I can only help by commenting and liking

  5. It’s not fixable. It will require straightening and welding to the integral parts of the body. It would not be safe to use (as in it would be unpredictable in case of another crash) and it’d cost you an arm and a leg. I hope you had an insurance that covers the total loss.

  6. There is possibility. My brother (mechanic) saw it so there is option (but it wall be lot of money): silencer, wheel rim, suspension, body parts, if doors are okay then some locksmith work, airbag, check engine and battery if its okay
