Luckily small enough to go under the lawn mower without doing any damage. It's since been relocated to the relatively safety of behind the vegetable planters
babies are gold , mums are silver, dads are broze. something like that anyway
I’m guessing the fast worm was too difficult to catch?
Let’s hope he or she survives the coming winter .
Awwwwww so cute!
My one and only experience with a reptile here was sitting on an adder and it hissing. Dude wasn’t even bothered, was just shooing me. I jumped up and looked at him and he was like, you know what you did. Didn’t even slither away.
You laugh I dug up a “worm” in my sandpit as a toddler. I can still remember the outrage that I weren’t allowed to keep it but my older brother was allowed to take it to school in an old coffee tin

It looks like the worms in Futurama that infested Fry’s body after he ate the egg sandwich from the gas station bathroom vending machine – https://www.naturalblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/yo-worms-image-2018.jpg
