I saw this on a pump at a BP petrol station this morning….. still scratching my head on why it’s there 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

  1. Broken latch/screw holding the metal top plate of the pump housing down.  It’s there to stop the top flapping about or ripping off and flying away in a strong gust of wind.
