  1. Why is CBS writing a headline about something that happened last month as if it had just happened today?

  2. China will keep doing this and get worse and worse as it realizes it can get away with it and nobody is stopping them. If everyone lets China cross red lines, they will do it more often.

  3. What does the term “double down” mean to you?

For me it’s when a car is being towed out of my lot when the owner of said car shows up and tries to justify how parking on someone else’s property was what they had to do. So many variations, threats of violence and “I know where you lives”.

I love having security cameras and a dash cam.

  4. Guess China’s auditioning for the next season of Bumper Boats: International Waters Edition.

  5. CCP is a cancer to the world and I hope the great people of China can rid themselves, and the world, of their CCP problem.

  6. China feels that they own the whole sea in that area. I doubt they will care if 60 minutes shows the footage or runs the story. But they’re assholes, regardless.

  7. Just start sinking their ships.

Russia learned the hard way when their jets got shot down by Turkey, China will probably be the same.

  8. Ok, so lets say hypothetically that the US is drawn in. What is the plan when a Chinese ship rams a US warship in the same manner. Is there a plan? I know that plans are a radical idea in a reactionary century

  9. This will not end well. Eventually the Philippines will respond if the United States/SEATO will not deploy forces against it. That will lead to China launching strikes against the Philippines.

But don’t worry, the UN will firmly protest it. Nothing stops cruise missiles like suggested sanctions and a watered-down resolution. That’s why Russia stopped invading Ukraine and is unable to trade with anyone, especially not with the West through shell corporations and third parties.

I encourage diplomacy, but China is showing rather clearly that they are going to fight for this. The West has not shown the same backbone; on the contrary, we seem to be telling our allies that they must fight for themselves unless they have oil.

  10. > The ramming incident happened about 60 nautical miles off the coast of the Philippines and about 660 nautical miles from China

  11. China has to fuck off out of the SCS.

They agreed to UN mediation on this matter, and lost. Then they said “nah, fuck that” because they didn’t like the ruling.
