US sticks to its guns on ‘tough, targeted’ 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs, to counteract China’s state-driven subsidies, that will begin this month. Will also inlude a 50% tariff on Chinese-built solar cells, and 25% on steel, aluminum, EV batteries, and other critical minerals.

I guess this is the end of the Comparative Advantage theory.
What if China BYD would manufacture their cars in the US, to get around the tariffs, similar to what Toyota has done with the Camry?
Who gets the tarrif tax?
Does that money go to the us government?
