  1. Cannot wait to be free of my 02 contract. What an absolutely shit network. Going back to Talk Mobile as soon as I can

  2. O2 tried doing something so similar with me, my £40 a month contract and they give me “your contract ended! How about £112 a month, how does that sound?”

Sounded pretty dogshit O2, and now I pay £8 a month with ID Mobile

  3. That’s how they get you mate, you were a new customer before; now you’re an existing customer.

You could look around for a better deal elsewhere, but is it worth the time and hassle *laughs in customer relations*

  4. always always get a sim only contract or a 30 day rolling sim and buy the phone separately best and cheapest no one wants to pay there interest fee over the years I made the mistake in the past signing a 4 year contract biggest regret

  5. As a person looking at contracts right now. I cannot for the life in me figure out why anyone would pay double the price to be with o2 or EE. They are so expensive vs other providers it’s unreal.

  6. I have the phone I have because I held fast at “I will not be paying anymore than £30 per month. Since the + 3.9% minimum increase every march I’m now paying £30.99. I won’t be paying that much again. I think EE is now the most expensive (by a country mile!) deal, Vodafone etc. don’t seem to be that much cheaper though?!). Who do I go to next?! (Happy to be SIM only!)

  7. I had a Sim Only for £8 because of a discount and paying my phone off with O2. Best offer they gave me to continue was like £65.
    Bye.

  8. O2 are pretty decent in my area, and never had issues when travelling about. I got a pixel 6 pro, a couple years back, and decided to pay off the device plan etc and now I am on a sim only deal for £6 a month with unlimited calls, minutes and 10GB Of data. Beforehand, I had 100Gb, but was only averaging about 2-4Gb a month.

  9. For some reason, they’ve offered you a three month contract.

If you look on the o2 website, you can change the device plan to three months, making it the exact same cost as shown here. If you add the upfront cost back in, that is.

  10. My contract ended months ago. Happy with my phone, time to look around for a new sim only deal. £13 a month for 500 minutes, 500 texts and, wait for it 500mb of data lol. Yes mb. That’s what I’m getting now lol

  11. Remember those old phone contracts where they’d throw in a mini motorbike? It’s like that but now it’s a range rover.
