Two words I associate with the safety of my child…

  1. This is genuinely one of the best chairs for babies/kids. We just don’t have one as it’s bloody expensive

  2. Bloody great chair. We got a second hand one from a friend. Her kid used it until he was 8! Ours is 5 yrs old and the chair’s still going strong.

  3. Tripp trapp trull means (~) meeny miny moe. Scandinavians are not trying to squash your toddlers, it’s just an unfortunate translation. Probably.

  4. Highly recommend, my parents have had the ones from my childhood for over 30 years and now my kids are using them whenever we visit. We bought a pair 2nd hand, got the additional baby safety gubbins on vinted funnily enough.

  5. We have one in our kitchen that was bought when I was a baby, I’m nearly 22 now
Top quality chair, supports an adult with the lower plate removed

  6. Bought ours new. Love it. It’s genuinely one of those things that can be posted on r/buyitforlife

  7. They’re really good. Solid, adjustable and everything works well. The minimalist design is the bit that differentiates them, everything else for kids is some plastic monstrosity and these actually look alright with existing furniture.

  8. I bought the Baby dan danchair as an alternative as couldn’t afford the Trip Trapp when my boy was a baby. If anyone is looking for an alternative.

  9. The name is a bit strange but it’s a fab product. My sons 3 and we use it every day. We never had a high chair – just this with the baby attachment. It’s excellent and easy to clean
