Ukrainian soldier appears to be executed with sword

Ukrainian soldier who appears to have been ex*cuted with a sword; presumably in Kursk Oblast, Russia.

The soldier lays on his back in the road without a uniform jacket or body armor on. It appears as if the sword punctured his chest while he was still alive, as there is serious bleeding coming from where the sword makes contact with the soldiers chest.
The sword has "For Kursk" written on the blade in marker.
It appears in the first photo there is duct tape around the soldiers right hand. In the second photo, it appears that the Russian soldier who took the photo; photoshopped the tape restraining his hands out of the photo. Indicating to me that this man was a prisoner at the time of his death. You can see they forgot to edit out the shadow of the tape on the ground.
