I mean, the answer to this is pretty obvious: Trump is a narcissitic idiot who doesn’t care if the world burns, and Harris needs to win PA to have a chance at being president, so of course she’s going to say whatever she needs to say (support fracking, increase fossil fuel production, etc.) to get the undecided voters there to vote for her. If the popular vote decided who gets to be president she might have picked a different approach, but we live in the bed we made for ourselves by letting the electoral college live for this long.
The ruling class don’t care about the climate crisis. They just want to make sure they maintain absolute economic and political control so they can watch from very comfy chairs as the world burns.
