Princess of Wales gives health update in video featuring William and their children

In a video released by Kensington Palace, the Princess of Wales gives an update on her cancer treatment, saying she has finished chemotherapy and will take on more royal duties in the months to come.

The video features Prince William and their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, with clips of the family together in the countryside. Catherine, 42, was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer, and announced to the public in March that she was receiving treatment and would step away from her roles in the public eye.

  24. Its so patronising. People who suffer from cancers do this with huge pressures. Be it family, work and other life commitments. At least if Kate wants to help, try making a decent donation to Cancer Research, a fund that helps people struggling financially due to their illness, also to the thousands of people who are doing this, on their own and already live with a disability. I found your video incredible offensive. Oh to have a privileged life because relations of yours took, murdered and exploited your way to obscene privilege. Even in the twentieth century, even this year you're still taking money from tax payers that least can afford it. Don't act like you are one with us. You are not. You are exploitive, manipulative and this whole narrative has stopped the media storm discussing the accusations of Kate and Charles being racist. Of course they are.

  35. We have had health issues in the family,and unless it’s happened to you. You won’t realise how upsetting it is. It’s a very private thing and to be pressured into public statements is wrong.
